Take another look at this gorgeous card. Do you see paper scraps or do you see a beautiful finished card? I see both! I admit I’m a little fixated on scrap paper. I think about how to store it, how to use it, and how to get the most out of it.
Adding Interest to Paper Scraps
With just a few tools, you can create cards like this from your paper scraps. For this example, I’ve die cut our Multi Square Windows Thin Cut from Charcoal cardstock. I’ve use scraps of Glacier cardstock and our grey striped Mix In pattern paper to fill in the squares. I used both sides of our double sided cardstock to vary the color. I embossed all of the scraps with our Quilt embossing folder. to add texture and interest. I attached the die cut to a White Daisy card and then decorated the front with an images from the Winged Wishes stamp + Thin Cuts set. I colored it with TriBlend markers and added it to the card with 3D foam tape.
