Deep Blue Bargello Card

More Bargello Technique

Yesterday I posted my first Bargello technique card using shades of green ink to create a jungle background.  Bargello uses a blend of inks to create cards that have a unique play of light feel.  I couldn’t wait to try it with other stamp sets and color patterns.  Check out this blend of blue and turquoise inks I’ve used to create an ocean background.

Amp Up Your Bargello Technique Cards

Ready to take your Bargello technique cards to the next level?  Start with the basic method (instructions can be found here).  This time we’re working with blue and turquoise inks, and the From the Deep stamp + Thin Cuts.  The stand out elements on this card are the stamped bubbles in the background.  Simply stamp the bubble in black ink and then fill in with a heavy coat of Diamond Stickles Glitter Gel.   Give your die cut seahorse image texture and shine with a coating of Liquid Glass.  Be sure to allow plenty of dry time for both of these applications.
