Do you make New Year’s resolutions?  I am a big believer in writing down goals and the steps I plan to take to achieve them.   While some of the items on my goal list don’t look like much fun – organize my house and revamp my budget – I know they will have huge rewards.  Even so, I think it’s a great idea to make some of my goals more fun.  With that in mind, I’ve created three stamping resolutions for January:

  1. Try something new – I’ve never been much of a digital scrapbooker, but this month I am creating layouts using Studio J for the first time.  I love the intuitive nature of the software and how fast my layouts are coming together.  Check out the Express Collections!
  2. Everything old is new again – I’m going back to some of my favorite card sketches that I haven’t used for awhile and turning my stash into cards.
  3. Send happy mail – over the next few weeks I’m sending cards to old friends just to put a smile on their faces.  I love finding a handmade card in my mailbox and I hope they will too.

Do you have a crafting resolution for January?  Will you be giving one of mine a try?  Let me know in the comments!
