While Saturday’s Welcome Spring Craft Fair was a soggy wash out, Sunday’s Zumbathon benefit was just what I needed to pump up my energy.  Even better, the Welcome Spring Craft Fair rain date has been set for Saturday, April 12th so I’ll be heading back to Park Street with loads of goodies from soaps and solid shampoos to Idea Books.  I hope you’ll make plans to be there!

Speaking of solid shampoo, I will be back at Green Lotus Organics this Saturday at 3pm teaching the art of beer shampoo bars.  Join me and explore techniques for creating shine and volume in the hair without the use of animal proteins.  Please note that this is an advanced class.  Please contact me before registering if you have not completed the hot process soap making class.

As we say goodbye to March, I want to remind you that today is your last opportunity to take home the Happy Place stamp set as well as the end of our Studio J March savings promotion.

Sudsy Saturday

I’ve been posting lots of stamp and scrapbook ideas lately, but today I’m taking a break from inks and glitters to whip up a batch of beer soaps.  I’ll be spending the afternoon at Green Lotus Studios creating soaps and shampoos with Newcastle Brown Ale, Heineken and Bass Ale! These soaps will be available exclusively at Beerhammer’s Beer Gear in St. Augustine.

Green Lotus currently has the Bold City Suds line in stock including Bold Neighbor bath and shower bar, Mad Manatee exfoliating salt bar, Killer Whale Cream Ale shampoo bar and Duke’s Cold Nose Brown Ale Doggy Style solid pet shampoo.  If you haven’t washed your hair with beer, you are missing out!  The Killer Whale solid shampoo offers volume and softness with organic honey for added shine.  If you’re looking for an all natural, animal fat free shampoo bar, look for my Rapunzel bar.  There are just a few left in stock, or watch the January class calendar for my next beer shampoo bar class to learn the secret to creating your own.

Speaking of the upcoming class schedule, I’m offering two very popular classes next week.  Join me Thursday at 6pm for Beginners Cold Process Soap Making or Friday, December 20th at 6pm for Perfumes.  I hope to see you in the Studio soon!
